The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy group training on reducing dysfunctional attitudes and spontaneous thoughts in women with postpartum depression. The method of the present study was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of this study is all women referred to Arash Ruyintan Hospital in the period of April to June 1400. After the study of the study population, after screening by the Dysfunctional Attitude Questionnaire (DAS) and spontaneous thoughts questionnaire (ATQ) and women who They obtained a higher score (according to the clinical cut-off point criterion) in this test as a sample of 20 women and were replaced in two experimental and control groups, each with 10 women. After performing the dysfunctional attitude and spontaneous thoughts questionnaires on both control and experimental groups, the experimental group members participated in mindfulness training sessions for 8 sessions and 90 minutes each session. None of the control group members participated in mindfulness training sessions. Pre-test-post-test data were analyzed by analysis of covariance using Spss-23 software. The results showed that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy training reduced dysfunctional attitude (F = 30.30, P = 0.001) and spontaneous thoughts (F = 34.21, P = 0.001) in women in the experimental group. شد. In general, the findings of this study indicate that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can be considered as an effective intervention in reducing negative spontaneous thoughts and dysfunctional attitudes of women with postpartum depression.
